Date & Seed Energy Bites
I’m in love with this recipe. I’ve made it about four times adjusting slightly but it stays pretty much the same. Here’s what I do for these delicious date & seed energy bites!
Ingredients (In order of how I add to the food processor):
10-12 dates
1/2 cup walnuts
1/4 cup:
- sesame seeds
- chia seeds
- mix gold & dark flaxseeds
- hemp seeds
2 TSP Cocoa powder (I will leave it up to you. You can add up to 1/4 cup, but I don’t like them too chocolatey)
2 TBS Vanilla extract
Dash Cinnamon
STEP 1: Pulverize dates into chunky paste
STEP 2: Add walnuts & pulverize
STEP 3: Add in vanilla extract, cinnamon, pulverize
STEP 4: Add in seeds & cacao powder & pulverize
STEP 5: Once consistency has reached the stickyness to roll into balls, roll into balls. *If it’s not sticky enough, add in a tsp of coconut oil.
STEP 6: Store in airtight container in the fridge. They will keep for about 2 weeks!
